Since 2001, RE2 Robotics has remained committed to one primary mission: to develop innovative technologies that save lives and improve the quality of life.
Founded by Jorgen Pedersen, RE2 thrives on researching, designing and developing robotic technologies that enable users to safely and efficiently interact with their environments-- whether on the ground, in the air, or underwater. From concept to creation, we conduct cutting-edge research and develop robotic manipulator arm technology onsite in our collaborative facility, which is located in Pittsburgh’s historic Lawrenceville neighborhood.
Our team has expertise in all disciplines of robotics—from software development to electro-mechanical design. A Carnegie Mellon University spinoff, RE2 is committed to creating interoperable manipulation systems with human-like performance, intuitive robot interfaces and advanced autonomy software. We remain dedicated to solving our customers’ most difficult robotics engineering problems, while forming long-lasting relationships that meet their current and future technical challenges.
